L’universo veDrò viene chiamato a raccolta ogni anno, a fine agosto, presso CENTRALE FIES - ambienti per la produzione di performing art, situata a Dro – da cui veDrò –, non lontano da Riva del Garda, totem della community e simbolo del passaggio dalla produzione di energia idroelettrica alla produzione di idee in grado di dare nuova energia all’Italia.

900 partecipanti, trasversalità politica, religiosa e culturale, chiave prospettica o scenaristica come metodo di analisi dei fenomeni, informalità, struttura articolata su tre piani:

  1. incontri in plenaria, per dare spazio a scenari e immaginazione del prossimo futuro;
  2. fasi di lavoro in working group che mettono a fuoco i temi ritenuti cruciali per lo sviluppo del Paese e working group “sperimentali” per esplorare nuovi territori della conoscenza (Social Dreaming, Public speaking, Scrittura creativa, veDrò per ragazzi fino ai 12 anni);
  3. momenti conviviali: presentazione di libri, concerti di grandi cantautori italiani, proiezione di filmati e videoclip, cene-degustazione e il pomeriggio sportivo, che prevede accese sfide di calcio, calcetto e basket.

 

veDrò is a community that gathers around a totem – a symbol, and this is a hydroelectric plant (now a production centre for contemporary arts) called Fies, in Dro, very close to Riva del Garda. Every year, veDrò holds an event here because it sees a strong connection between the conversion of the plant from producing hydro electric power to now producing ideas that can spark new energy into Italy.

The configuration of the event is on three levels:

1. plenary meetings, where time is allocated to the analysis of current underlying trends;

2. workshops in small groups, focussing on ideas deemed critical to the development of the country. Every year there are also "experimental" working groups that, in the past have looked at various things (Social Dreaming, Public Speaking, Creative Writing, Italian Camp, veDrò 0-12 - for children between the ages of 12 and 17);

3. social events, such as book presentations, concerts (by some great Italian singers), films and videos, dinners, wine tastings, dinner parties and, most importantly, afternoon sport - which includes various football challenges, as well as basketball and volleyball.
